General info

This breathtaking Bolivian Salt Flats Tour explores the unique and bizarre landscapes of western Bolivia, from Lake Titicaca and La Paz all the way to the the vast white salt flats of the Salar de Uyuni (Uyuni Salt flats); one of the highest ,driest and most iconic regions in South America, thanks to the vast, surreal salt flats located just outside the town of Uyuni. Photo opportunities abound in this part of the tour, between the optical illusions offered by the white salar (salt flats). We’ll spend a couple of days on and around the highest navigable lake in the world the famous lake Titicaca, before flying south to Sucre and the silver-mining town of Potosi. We travel on to Uyuni, with its atmospheric Uyuni‘s train graveyard . Crossing the
edge of the biggest bolivian salt flats to reach the foot of Volcan Tunupa on the shores of the shimmering Salar de Uyuni (Uyuni Salt Flats), where maybe we’ll have the chance to see flocks of flamingoes and many other unusual Andean birds, we then have a full day to explore the surroundings of this multi-coloured mountain and enjoy the view of the salar de Uyuni (salt flats). Finally, before returning to La Paz we have a journey to the “Island” of Incahuasi in the middle of the Salar de Uyuni (Uyuni Salt Flats), we see giant cacti and bizarre rocky formations, but not before taking lots of funny pictures offered by the optical illusions of the mesmerising bolivian Salar de Uyuni (bolivian salt flats).
